VIDYA Bhagini is yet another milestone VIDYA has in its career path.The empowerment program for women has not only given them confidence and but has sown the seeds of entrepreneurship in their minds.According to the feeds from the women, they are really glad that they have got a lifetime opportunity of learning tailoring,Spoken English and basic computer science which would definitely not been possible without the commitment of women and teachers.
VIDYA Vastra headed by Mrs Vanitha has got a fantastic opening in the empowerment program.Starting from basic measurement, machinery knowledge and the lessons, the class goes gradually form the basic to the professional level.I should mention that the trainer has been really meticulous in preparing the training modules and providing one on one attention to every women.The women also prove their calibre by trying their hands in making different styles of outfit.
No wonder I may also learn tailoring in the near future!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
The colourful display of various outfits at the VIDYA meeting at Gottigere has proved that VIDYA women are capable of doing a fantastic job and creating a role model for the upcoming batch..
To mark their excellence these women have got a first level certification done at embroidery from Madura coats.And also they got the previlege of receiving these certificates from Rshmi mam,Ajanta mam and Sucheta mam.What a proud and inspiring moment for them......!!!!
Now shall we look at the spoken English skills of women?
