VIDYA South Bangalore center is on its full swing with a handful of activities rounding up this month.The scholarship students of VIDYA have been extremely thankful for the assistance that VIDYA has been providing them .Every weekend VIDYA has been conducting remedial classes for the scholarship students under the guidance of our bright and benevolent volunteers.Mr Srinivas and Ms Ragasudha have been delivering lectures which will certainly aid our students to score well.Not only they are receiving career counselling guidance from our volunteers.I feel that this is the need of the hour as they have to confidently face the professional and competitive world. VIDYA is thankful to all the services rendered by the volunteers.
In addition to this the community mobilization is going on in full swing .Our dedicated team of the Bhagini program are spreading the awareness and happening of the program.Our tailor made courses shall definitely benefit them and help them to engage in small scale business.Their steady growth and progress will surely transform them into business entrepreneurs.
The 70th Independence day has been celebrated with high positive spirits in Arekere Govt Primary school where VIDYA is conducting its beyond school program.The students actively participated in the function and displayed their patriotism.Our VIDYA team also participated in the function adding joy and honour.

As a matter of creativity, our nineth standard children of Jayanagar east end school,two of of them have written a very short story which tells their vacation trip to Kerala.Simple yet very sweet presentation by the students have given them happiness and confidence.We too are immensely feeling happy and contented that the teaching reaches them properly and powerfully!!!!!!!!!!
Needless to mention that the yoga classes at the south bangalore has been going in a fine and wonderful way with the women enjoying every bit of it.Also they are looking for the forthcoming classes.
Every week our VIDYA Bhagini women are being trained in a workshop to shape their art and craft skills.First they had the opportunity to learn silk thread bangles and earrings followed by the decorative haldi kumkum case.This week a very exciting and creative workshop on clay jewellery had been conducted by Mrs Gowri.Our women were very fast in grasping the method and modelled their own piece of earrings.Kudos to them and the team.
